What standards are supported by WBTExpress?

WBTExpress allows to export created courses in SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 and AICC standards. Besides the course can be saved in HTML format or as RTF document.
Project of the course is saved in XML standard.



Creating a course in the UTF-8 character encoding.

1. Close opened projects.
2. Go to the Settings option in the Menu and choose Program option.
3. Open the Character Encoding tab and check the option Enable UTF-8 character encoding.




The WBTExpress Free does not install. There is a statement "The file is corrupted. Please obtain a new copy." on the screen.

The audio and video isn't running in the FireFox and Mozilla browsers. What should be done to display/run them properly?

To run multimedia elements, such as audio and video, in Mozilla and FireFox browsers properly, installing the GeckoActiveX plugin is required. In can be downloaded from the location:

After installation it is recommended to close all browser windows and restart the browser.



WBTExpress is automatically closing after being started in the WindowsNT environment. How to run the application in this operating system?

To run the application properly, the library MSXML is required, which is added to the Windows family operating systems from the Windows98. Unfortunatelly the WindowsNT system does not contain this element, so it is required to install it manually. The installation package can be downloaded from:
Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML)

After installation will be completed, WBTExpress can be started without the need of restarting the computer.
